Changes Coming to Form 13F in 2023

 
The SEC announced on June 23, 2022 they are adopting amendments to the rules and filing format of Form 13F beginning in January of 2023.

Changes included are:

General. Requests for confidential treatment will now be required to be made in electronic format rather than paper format.
13F Cover Page. Institutional Investment Manager to provide its Central Registration Depository (CRD) number and SEC File Number if applicable.
13F Summary Page. CRD and SEC File Number now required (if any) on lists of other managers.
13F Information Table. For each security listed, its Financial Instrument Global Identifier (FIGI) may be optionally included in addition to its CUSIP number. Also, The market value of each security will now be listed to the nearest dollar rather than being reported to the nearest $1,000 (with the 000s removed).
